Backup to Flickr for iPhoto App Reviews

I tried to use this app to backup my Flickr Account to a Network Storage. But I doesn’t work. It just crashed two out of two times I tried. App deleted.

I downloaded this app very hopeful it would save me time. Unfortunately it refuses to open and crashes every time. I hope that this gets fixed. It would be lovely if it actually worked. Until then buyer beware.

If it does what it says with my 48145 photos photo library… I’m on the 418 photo uploaded and I love that the photos are uploaded using the original version of the photo! It really worth the price because you don’t have to be there. It does all for you. Love it. I’ll tell you how it went once it finishes. :)

I bought this and start syncing last night. UI is very simple, and feels good. Its easy to use. Im very pleased :-). But , its uploading is very slow. after one nights, synced only about 1000 photos. I have 37000 photos in iPhotos library, so Ill spend two weeks to sync all of it ;-(. I wanna upload faster, or pallarall upload feature.

As someone said, it is incredibly slow to upload photos. I have just 6100 photos to be uploaded, but only 200 photos were completed after several hours. There is no option to halt uploading, so probably I cannot turn off my Mac tonight…..

With 2.7, it can finish transfer finally. This is a great tool to backup iPhoto to Flickr. Not fast as expected, but it does its job now. Thanks.

I purchased Advanced_Features. Face tag of iPhoto is not reflected. Some synchronization are slow, but are almost satisfied about other functions. 私はAdvanced Featuresを購入したが、iPhotoのFaceタグが反映されないようだ。 同期が少し遅いが、その他の機能に関しては概ね満足している。

Very nice idea but bad realization. I’ve just bought your app yesterday. It has one very crucial bug – it sees only projects in the “root” folder of the library (I’m using Apreture). If Projects are grouped by Folder, app doesn’t upload them to Flickr. Another problem, it does not recognize, either some projects have been already uploaded or not! I run this app several time, so I have now several equal sets on flickr!

This is very uncomfortable to leave computer to upload my stuff overnight, coz your app makes a tons of swapfiles in system folder. By the morning when i come to work OS pauses your app because of out of memory. Adding the fact that your application is uploading extremely slow it is almost unuseful. I’m not a cheap but pay additional money for convertation of RAWs to JPGs? Really? :(

try to fix, because it can be a great app.

I have been trying to upload my Aperture photo library (4.400 photos) and the app has been showing some problems. Support is very responsive, though, and they promised to be working on some fixes. Surely it will get better soon, but it is already quite OK for those, like me, orphaned by the demise of Everpix! Will get 5 starts as soon as the issues are fixed, very good work!

Very often updated but still many issues. Some events uploaded twice others are incomplete. If you have a big library and you have to upload photos in fractions it begins from scratch ad upoads photos twice or more.

Fantastic! I just finished uploading 100GB of pictures and videos with no issues. Current version only uploads new pictures. Looking forward to version 2.0 that will support moving/deleting pictures from sets so that Flickr exactly mirrors my iPhoto collection.

Wont start, keeps saying it quit unexpectedly

Crashes each and every time I try to use it. Doesn’t do a thing. Total crap. Don’t waste your money.

Backed up my iphoto library to flickr! I have been looking for this for years! I figured you just need to make sure all your events have a name (or else it crashes) Great app.

wont start. 1.1 is garbage. they need a programmer before they charge money.

Authentication with Yahoo acount only apparently - no error message - crashing - no money back. Don’t waste your money. Support doesn’t offer solutions nor appologies. DO NOT BUY FROM, OR SUPPORT, DEVELOPERS LIKE THIS!
